Broadway Emergency Squad

  The Broadway Emergency Squad is located in the southern part of the Town of Broadway, Virginia. The Broadway Emergency Squad serves the towns of Broadway and Timberville and the communities of Fulks Run, Lacey Springs,  Tenth Legion and surrounding areas in Rockingham and Shenandoah County.
      There are over 40 active members including 15 active life members each serving more than 10 years and 12 Rockingham County Career Firefighter/EMTs.   Their are 6 Rockingham County Career Personal available Monday-Friday form 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. While Volunteers handle the calls on weeknights and weekends with  an additional 2 Rockingham County Career Personal available 24 hours a day to help assist the volunteers in the overwhelming number of calls we are receiving. The squad provides mutual aid with the New Market Rescue Squad, Harrisonburg Rescue Squad and Singers Glen Rescue Squad.  The squad is licensed with the Virginia Department of Health Office of Emergency Services to provide BLS and ALS patient transports.
     The station houses 6 ambulances, s serv vehicles, 1 mini crash truck and 1 mass causality/crash truck. The station also has offices, a training room, lounge, bunk rooms, fitness room and a banquet hall which is operated by the Auxiliary. The squad conducts several chicken bar-b-ques each year and a Toy Show as some of our fund raisers.
