All applicants must complete a background check before their application can be reviewed by the Membership Committee. Follow the steps below for a smooth, speedy process.

1. Obtain a fingerprint card from the Rockingham County Fire and Rescue Office located within the Rockingham County Office Building

2. Take the fingerprint card to the Rockingham County Sheriff's office to get fingerprinted on Tuesday or Friday only

3. Return the fingerprint card to the Rockingham County Fire and Rescue Office and let them know you are applying for membership at the Broadway Emergency Squad

The results of the background check will be sent to the Captain and an interview will be set up with the Membership Committee
